Winter blows – Thursday 5 January 2012

I hope you all had a good Christmas and New year and are now beginning to look forward to the spring and getting cruisng again

We have a TV which gets all the usual UK channels so I am fully aware of how awful the weather in UK is right now, and I am sure you will be pleased that the weather here in the last few days has got worse.  Not the ice and snow we had here last year but lots and lots of rain and yesterday and today very strong winds have battered the boat, but the fire is roaring away and the boat is dry and cosy, so no real problems.

The time is going quickly already getting well into January and as we are going to Gannay for  a week in early March to have some new batteries installed and perhaps some doors if we can afford it, the winter I feel will pass very quickly from now on as it is only 7 weeks to the start of March.  No pics today but if the deluge eases up we will hopefully get out and about latter this week and take some shots for the Blog.
