Winter arrives at St Lager
We awoke this morning to a winter wonderland scene. Snow was forecast over the weekend but it was a bit of a shock, so much overnight. I quickly lit the wood burner and got Gladys ready for a swift walk. She hesitated for a moment at the door and then leapt for joy in the snow.
The snow was heavy and settled well with maybe 3-4 inches on the paths
Hopefully the logs will stay dry under their cover while we are away in the UK for Christmas.
We are due to leave early Sunday morning, the weather forecast is currently showing no snow for the rest of the weekend …lets hope they are right otherwise it could be a very interesting trip in our little car.
