Villeneuve-sur-Yonne to Pont-sur-Yonne

The weather continues to be fabulous so cruising is a pure pleasure, and we are stopping in new places and finding some real treasures.

Villeneuve was a delight with some impressive buildings, a good mooring

Villeneuve was a real find and we had a lovely lunch and the first game of Boules with Martin on Opilio.

Do not even think about nicking my ice cream!

First game of Boules and first outing for the shorts.

Our next stop was Pont-sur-Yonne , another real find and we arranged our arrival to coincide with their weekly Sunday Market.

Amazing display of quality veg at the market

and time for a little Sunday morning chill

Thats coffee, cognac and a cigar

Gladys also found a new little friend.

The 8 May, is victory Europe day and was proclaimed in the display boards throughout the town .

Tomorrow we leave and head towards Paris and hopefully we will be well onto the Marne by next weekend.
