Moving south slowly

We finally left Gent after several leaving parties on Monday 15th March.  We stopped for a one nighter near Deinze before moving to a great mooring in Kortrijk.  Kortrijk is a very impressive town, not as big as Gent but similar in terms of its rich history and splendid buildings.

We took a few photos on the way and the easiest way to view these is via our web albums
We were going to stay for just one night in Kortrijk but liked it so much we are staying until Monday morning 22nd, we will then finally start the the move to france via a long tour of Wallonia.

I am having some trouble with my Internet connection and are composing this blog entry in a local civic building with its free wi-fi hotspot, works well but I will be depending on finding hotspots to keep this blog up todate after Monday, but I will try.
