We have made the move from Decize to La Chapelle, where we were last winter.
We set off early Monday morning and had a trouble free day covering 35 kilometers mostly in the pouring rain but still enjoyable.
Goodbye to the canal de Nivernais and the friendly lock keepers , they may have waved too enthusiastically!!
we awoke on Tuesday morning to find a white out and unable to move safely until later in the morning. The bonus was the incredible beauty of the autumn colours in the trees and shrubs by the canal.
fallen leaves around a tree by the overnight mooring.
A glorious days cruising and no rain.
arrived at the winter mooring and settled in, nice to be back.
