Its time to say goodbye to Roanne.
Leaving behind a few new friends and aiming to return next year, in fact a good place to spend the winter, I have put in my application form with Herve the capitaine at Roanne and he will ring if any spaces come available.
So now the mission is to find a winter mooring for this year, and it is getting important to sort it out as soon as we can, but it also has to be the right place and tick the right boxes, those being; a sizable community which does not shut down for the winter; at least 4 other livaboards who are going to be around throughout the winter months; good IT reception preferably wi-fi, or at least a strong phone signal and good TV reception. There are other tick boxes such as not likely to flood but I will assume the reader understands the basics.
Been unwell lately but all better now, still on anti-biotics and the doctor has ordered no booze untill I finish the course of tablets…two more days to go…good bottle of wine at the ready..
