This is probably our last full week in Gent we are busting to get going after a long cold winter and not really moving for months.
We moved today, all right only a few yards so we could clean the sides of the boat. It was nice and sunny when I kick started the engine this morning, then it started snowing and later pouring with rain. So much for the weather forecast which said it would be cold and sunny all week, and so much for cleaning the outside of the boat today.
The aim is to leave here on Saturday and visit Gent boat services to fill our fuel tank and the jerri cans, then to cruise back to our original mooring in Gent to say goodbye to our friends Mary and Tony before setting off on this summers cruising.
