It has been a long process, but at last we have the prospect of a working camper-van again.
Our desire is to spend several of the winter months in the south of the European continent, in places such as Portugal and Spain.
I have a splendid French mechanic called Dominic who now has the camper-van and, as of last night, a placement engine which when cleaned up should be able to replace the broken one. I do not want to jeopardise the process of completion by giving an unhelpful date but suffice to say that the next Blog will hopefully feature a working camper-van.
The sad looking camper van with old engine being removed.
and the genius mechanic that is Dominic who is turning a sows ear into a silk purse
The weather is changing rapidly, it only seems a few days since we were sweltering in the boat and struggling to keep cool, now its close the boat up, light the fire and put the jumpers on. A good reason to set off south in the camper.
However, the colder weather has turned the trees opposite the boat into an amazing spectacle of colour
Teresa is setting up her own web site to demonstrate her talent for drawing animals and people. She is drawing everyday now and producing great work which has been very well received by the recipients, I have the web site address but as it is not working properly yet, I will advertise it on a later Blog.
